Warranty Policy
Wattera guarantees to the Buyer that the Products supplied pursuant to the Order shall be delivered with no material, design or manufacturing defect. If it transpires during the warranty period that any part of the Product is defective under this warranty and to the extent that the Buyer gives prompt notice thereof within a reasonable time as defined in Warranty Policy , Wattera shall correct the said defect at its sole discretion either by repairing the defective part or parts, or by delivering a repaired or replacement component in accordance with applicable laws.
Warranty Terms:
The warranty shall take effect from the date of manufacture of the Products or at the latest, from the date of purchase as indicated on your proof-of-purchase, as per warranty policy applicable on products and concludes at the end of the specified period.
In cases where proof-of-purchase is lost or the retailer is unknown to us, the warranty is not applicable. For products lacking production dates or serial numbers, a valid proof-of-purchase is required. Following a repair, firmware upgrade, or replacement, the warranty period continues from the original purchase date.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover consequential damages. The warranty is void if:
- The proof-of-purchase is altered or illegible.
- The model number, serial number, or production date code on the product is altered, removed, or illegible.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications are conducted by service organizations or individuals.
- The defect results from excessive use beyond the intended purpose.
- The defect is caused by product abuse or environmental conditions not in line with the user manual.
- Peripherals, additional equipment, or accessories not recommended in the user manual are connected.
- Damage occurs due to animals, lightning, abnormal voltage, fire, natural disasters, transportation, or water, unless expressly stated in the user manual.
- Normal wear and tear or the replacement of consumable parts.
- The product malfunctions because it was not originally designed, manufactured, or approved for use in the country where it is used, particularly in cases of product importation.
DELIVERY – TRANSFER OF RISK AND OWNERSHIP
Delivery lead times are given as an indication only and Wattera shall not be bound to pay any penalty charge or compensation should delivery take place on a different date.
Products travel at the Buyer’s risk and liability. It falls to the latter to check them on arrival and, where appropriate, to express any reservations to the delivery carriers.
Any discrepancy observed in the invoice must be brought to our attention within 15 days of receipt of material. No complaints in respect of material supplied vide this invoice will be entertained unless the same is lodged in writing within 15 days of receipt of material.
On special instructions from the Buyer, shipments may be made by the Wattera who shall then invoice the Buyer for the additional costs involved.
The Buyer shall be liable for all damage and loss occurring after delivery of the Products. Failure by the Buyer to make any payment by its due date may result in Wattera reclaiming the Products delivered and the suspension of all deliveries of Products in progress
