11) What is the use of admin PIN in the Wattera smartlife app and can I reset the admin PIN?
The admin PIN is the master control required to operate all key features on Wattera smartlife, like Add / Modify / Delete devices, scenes, and users. Admin PIN can be accessed from the Profile section in the side menu of the Wattera smartlife app. * To reset admin PIN, go to Side-menu > Accounts > Admin Mode and Select the Forgot PIN option. Follow the instructions prompted on the screen. * To change the admin PIN, go to Side-menu > Accounts > Admin Mode and select the Change PIN option. Follow the instructions prompted on the screen.
12) Is it possible to replace an existing device added on the Wattera smart life app with a new one?
Yes it is possible if the device supports Replace functionality, you would see an option named Replace under 3 dots menu of the device. Go to the Device Details screen and select 3 dots menu, if Replace option appears then that specific device can be replaced with another to re-use the set automation rules and scenes. Just follow the onscreen instructions to replace the faulty offline device with a new device with the same make and model number. Please Note: This functionality works only if the device is offline.

13) Can I delete the smart home devices from the Wattera smartlife app?
Yes. To delete the device, go to the Device Details screen, tap the 3 dots menu and select the Delete option. The device will be removed from the user’s list of smart devices.
14) How can I add a smart device shortcut tile on the main page under the Wattera smartlife app?
For quick access to favourite smart devices added to the Wattera smartlife app, tap the 3 dots menu of Device Details page and select the Edit option. On the Edit Device page, enable the Quick access on Dashboard option. Shortcuts are created locally on the mobile devices and will need to be re-created every time the mobile device is changed.
15) What should I do if no Wi-Fi device is found during the scanning process?
You should ensure that your Wi-Fi device is in the pairing mode and your mobile device with the app is near to it. Wi-Fi devices can only be added when the pairing mode is enabled.
16) Can I connect the Wi-Fi device using a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network?
No. The current Wi-Fi devices work only with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and will not be able to connect to a 5 GHz network.
17) Do the Wi-Fi devices support Wi-Fi reconfiguration and addition to a new router?
Yes, both Wi-Fi settings change and router change are supported by the Wi-Fi devices and can be done through the following steps: Enable the Network Change mode of the WiFi device. Check device manual for more details. On the Device details screen, tap the 3 dots menu and select the Wi-Fi Settings option. Re-configure the network credentials i.e. Wi-Fi SSID or password.
